Kicking off the officially licensed SHARPE'S RIFLES game and hard plastic range - we have the iconic Lieutenant Richard Sharpe as he would have been in January 1809 during the events of Sharpe's Rifles.

The 54mm model is a display piece that comes with a scenic base. The 28mm version is true multi-part and has two arm and head options shown here and includes a textured base as well. Chris Hindmarsh has painted the two versions - one to look like Sharpe as per the television show and the other depicting Sharpe as described by Bernard Cornwell in the novel: tall, dark haired, and with a savage scar on his left cheek that made him look like an “execution”.

We will be following the Sharpe box with similar frames for Harper, Riflemen Harris, and other notable characters from Sharpe’s Rifles. Andy Hobday is hard at work on the rules which will be revealed in the first game next spring.

This hard plastic box set includes two complete multi-part figures. There is a 54mm display mono-pose version of Sharpe and a 28mm multi-part version that includes two head and arm options. There are scenic bases for each figure in the box.

WRG 1685-1845

 Thinking of using these rules. They are retro but also successful and popular for a long time. I just have to find my copy of them. TMP says

First published in 1971, with a second edition in 1979, these rules were revolutionary for their time. They were written to allow wargamers to replay even the largest battles from the horse and musket era 1685-1845. This popular set of rules were in use primarily for Seven Years War and the Napoleonic Wars for over 25 years. The approximate ratio was 1 figure representing 40-50 men. This scale made it feasible to recreate historical battles upon the table top at the grand tactical level. Wargamers used them for Marlborough’s battles, the Highland rebellions, the battles of Frederick the Great, in addition to the Seven Years War, the War of American Independence, campaigns in India, the French Revolutionary Wars and Napoleonic Wars. The rules included three pages of specimen army lists for Marlburian era, the Seven Years War and the early Indian Wars. The rules are published by the History of Wargaming Project as part of its work to make key developments in the hobby available again.

Fast Play Napoleonic Wargame Rules

These rules provide a fast paced game with simple rule mechanisms that allow players to concentrate on their tactics and enjoy the 'look' of their tabletop battle, rather than have their heads buried in rule tables.
Elements shoot and fight individually but move and test morale within their unit.
One or two rule mechanisms have been 'adapted' from other rule systems (as I liked them); as they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
Players will need a table approximately 6' by 4' laid-out with suitable terrain. At least one D6 die and a measuring device each (measuring stick or rule), and of course two opposing armies. The measurements are for 15mm figures.
